SUMMARY:
Well Established Company in the Construction Industry is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join their team based in the East Rand Area of Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Requirements:-

Manage people (Drivers, Mechanics and workshop assistants)
Resolve any arising problems and complaints
Supervise, coach and train the team
Be able to capture and sign off hours
Be able to plan daily activities with the team reporting to them
Work weekends and attend to breakdowns after hours (When required)
Stock take - capture stock daily on sites and in the office (Stock in / stock out)
Report back on stock on a daily basis
Procurement
Obtain pricing on various material, plant and parts needed on a daily basis
Procurement and issuing of all PPE
Breakdowns
Oversee all maintenance, repairs and security to ensure the business runs smoothly
Needs to be able to implement and capture job cards
Order parts needed to maintain plant and equipment
Logistics
Ensure that the business delivers the right product at the right time and quality
Obtain best prices to move plant and equipment
Ensure the safe movement of plant and equipment
Vehicle claims and services
Monitoring vehicle activities via tracking services
Monitor fuel spends and log books
Asset management
Manage the Company asses and optimise the costs
Log claims and follow up
Do site visits to inspect the condition of the assets and report back to management
Upkeep of office space and storage yard
Ensure signage is in place and that the work environment is safe
Ensure monthly upkeep is attended to.

Excellent communication skills in English (Non Negotiable)
