Our client within the Hospitality sector, based in Paterson, seeks to employ a Workshop Manager to join their Maintenance team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Repair, maintain, service and trouble shoot diesel and petrol engines.
Daily supervision of daily tasks performed in the workshop.
Report to maintenance manager on a daily basis on tasks completed in workshop.
Order and maintain stock levels to allow smooth running of services and repairs.
Allow for preventative maintenance by checking with workshop assistants and weekly check list.
Constantly maintain company assets and fleet of vehicles.
Follow service and cleaning schedules.
Must be able to read, write and communicate tasks effectively.

Requirements:

Diesel mechanic diploma with a min of 3-5 years’ experience
Min of 3-5 year experience as a team leader/supervisor/manager
Very good mechanical knowledge of diesel & petrol engines
Knowledge of 2–stroke engines an advantage
Driver’s license essential
Good computer skills required - Sage Pastel Evolution an advantage
Leadership, communication and delegation skills essential
