SUMMARY:
To perform the administrative and clerical activities required in a technical workshop environment in alignment with predefined work objectives (as per agreed standard operating procedures).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Key Performance Areas:

 

  • ·         Deliver work activities according to set standards in order to satisfy customers. Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise financial performance.
  • ·         Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills. Own and live up to the company values.
  • ·         Execute own work according to set operating procedures service level agreements. Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
  • ·         Plan and organise own tasks to make sure that performance targets are met and standard operating procedures are adhered to. (daily to 3 months)
  • ·         Provide continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making.
  • ·         Scheduling of vehicles for service
  • ·         Monitor breakdowns and costs
  • ·         Provide figures for yearly budget


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Monitoring of maintenance costs on a aweekly basis and submitting relevant reports.

  • Ensure vehicles comply to the SANS 1518 and ADR spesifications on a monthly basis.

  • Ensure that fleet image and standards are adhered to

  • Attention to stock control and pricing

  • Do weekly tyre scrapping and monitoring of cost

  • Ensure general housekeeping is up to standart

  • Ensure KPI standards are adhered to

 

 

 

 

 

Nature of Position:

 

 

 

    • Permanent

       

 

Qualification and Experience required:

 

 

 

    • Diploma (NQF Level 6)

    • Up to 3 years of experience in a similar environment

    • Atleast 5 years experience with dangerous goods vehicles
