JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a similar role within automotove sector essential (Trucks advantageous)

Must have a tertiary marketing / operations degree

Computer literate with basic excel

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage all hours worked and sold

Record th use of consumable items

Build sound relationships with all departments staff and own staff

Achievement of agreed workshop sale of hours and profit margins as per agreed budget

Achievement of agreed CSI target for Service

Achievement of efficient operation through establishing and meeting objectives on servie dept. operting policies and standards as per dealer standards

Management company assets, equipment, debtors queries and collection.

Management of staff

Achievement of ongoing increse in new customers an retention thereof (increase in market share)

Control of workshop budget inclujding personnel and overhead costs

Achievement of the agreed productivity and efficiency targets

Participate in all relevant training programmes

Be properly dressed with correct PPE

Ensure all Health and Safety rules are adhered to at all times

Set an example with timekeeping

Ensure a good working relationship with colleagues and peers.

Proper adherance to company rules regarding the use of special tools and company assets

Housekeeping

Manage hours worked incuding overtime, conforming to Labour Relations Acts

Promote spirit of competitiveness within the technician groups and teams

Check, maintain and report on any out-of-linje items ie OHS / SHE and or other concerns which are deemed 'outside'of of company policy

Regular attendance of staff meetings
