SUMMARY:
Our client in Kempton Park, Gauteng, has an opportunity available for a Workshop Manager with truck experience. Must be a qualified and trade-tested Diesel Mechanic.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Personally manage work efficiently.
Properly record all hours worked and sold.
Record the use of consumable items.
Build sound relationships with other department staff and own staff.
Achievement of agreed workshop sales of hours and profit margins as per agreed budget.
Achievement of agreed CSI target for service.
Achievement of efficient operation through establishing and meeting objectives on service department operating policies and standards as per dealer standards.
Management of company assets, equipment, debtors queries and collection, management of staff.
Achievement of ongoing increase in new customers and retention thereof.
Control of workshop budget including personnel and overhead costs.
Achievement of the agreed productivity and efficiency targets.

Participate in all relevant training programs.
Share your new knowledge with others.

Requirements:

- TRADE TEST as DIESEL MECHANIC
- Tertiary post graduate qualification will be an added advantage
- Strong TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
- Experience in running a truck workshop
- Strong Financial Acumen and exceptional reporting skills
- Strong in people management, finance control with experience in Costing
- Computer Literate – Intermediate excel
