Workshop Foreman

SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a medically fit, hands-on Workshop Foreman to run the workshop and wash bay, keep repairs on taut-liner and tipper trailers up to standard, and make sure the place runs like a well-oiled machine.

Requirements

• Matric.

• Qualified mechanic (or similar).

• 2+ years workshop experience in transport/logistics.

• 2+ years working on tautliner and/or tipper trailers.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to operate heavy machinery.

• Computer-literate and detail-driven.

• Medically fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support workshop & wash bay staff.

• Handle hiring, training, scheduling, and task allocation.

• Oversee repairs, maintenance, and quality checks on trailers.

• Process work orders and job cards accurately.

• Maintain safety standards and keep the workspace clean and compliant.

• Manage stock, supplies, and basic admin.

• Step in with technical work when needed.
