JOB DESCRIPTION:

Workshop & Parts Manager – Caledon - R550,000-R600,000 per annum CTC

 

The Workshop & Parts Manager is responsible for planning and organizing the workload in the workshop to maximize effective manpower utilization and cost-effective maintenance of machinery and equipment.  The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Mechanized Agriculture and related products (New Holland Preferred)

 

Requirements

  • Trade Test (N3) or Diploma or NQF 5
  • 4 to 6 years of Workshop, Spares & Agricultural related experience.
  • Excellent Management   Skills & ability to maintain good human relations  
  • Strong Knowledge of Repair and Maintenance of Agricultural Equipment, Optimization of Workshop Efficiency, Managing a Spares and Workshop department & Management of Staff and SHEQ practices.

 

Key performance indicators include

  • Excellent & Efficient Customer Service & ability to maintain long-term relationships
  • Profitable Management and Administration of the Workshop and Parts order spares and components needed for reparations and maintenance   
  • Dealing with inquiries regarding products and prices 
  • Inventory Management 
  • Financial Management 
  • Marketing of services
  • Loss control and housekeeping and
  • ad hoc tasks
