POSITION INFO:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Harvesting and winemaking
• Quality control
• Stock management
• Personnel management
• Maintenance and housekeeping
• Record keeping and administration
• Wine tasting and external liaison

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma in Viticulture and Oenology or similar qualification)
• Proven experience in wine industry (3-5 years)
• Mechanical and technical knowledge of winemaking machinery and equipment
• Well-developed wine tasting skills
• Good computer skills (Wine MS)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
• Passion and commitment for producing quality wine
• High analytical and observation skills
• Ability to perform well in both a team context and individually
