To lead the strategic research, design, development and implementation of bespoke employee wellness programmes that enhance the psychological and physical wellness and provides financial knowledge and understanding for company employees, while continuously measuring the effectiveness on the implemented programmes

Wellness Programmes and Services
  • To develop and implement a holistic initiative by assessing and coordinating wellness programmes and services within company that reflects the needs  and the demographics of the organisation.
  • Assess the population needs to develop appropriate Wellness programmes based on insights and feedback from employees and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitates Wellness Focus Groups to collect information and understand the underlying needs of the employees.
  • Develop, market, promote and impart knowledge on chronic disease management and wellness programs that engage and focus employees on fostering a healthy lifestyle, creating a general wellness/ medical culture that is both proactive and preventative in nature, within the Organisation.
  • To conduct data gathering exercises and data analysis processes to establish health and wellness risks within the business pertaining to the total wellbeing of the workforce.
  • Develop programmes/ interventions that will upskill employees on how to deal with current health problems and find health programs that will improve the employee''s well-being
  • Design, source and implement a bespoke wellness program for the organization, including a health portal, lifestyle coaching, disease management, biometric screenings and financial wellness knowledge and awareness.
Communication
  • Develop marketing campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle or participation in wellness initiatives.
  • Create a custom communication program component to increase engagement with employees.
  • Maintain collaborative partnerships with organizations and stakeholders that assist in the achievement of the company Employee Wellness Programme objectives.
  • Develop and apply metrics to ensure the effectiveness of health and wellness programmes, and modify programmes based on results. Create awareness by sharing information trends and benchmarks as applicable.
  • Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies for promoting wellness programmes in consultation with the company Corporate Affairs department.
Measuring & Reporting
  • Maintain and compile statistical data, Health Interest Survey (HIS) to reflect the change in the employee population.
  • Implement assessment procedures to measure the return on investment of the health and wellness programmes.
  • Prepare monthly reporting on delivered initiatives, planned initiatives and employee participation and feedback.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of relevant wellness initiatives and retrieve data and design reports based upon user needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Post grad degree in Social Sciences ideally in a Health and Wellness related field
  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) would be advantageous
  • A well-seasoned individual with approx. 8 years’ experience in the management and coordination of wellness services/ programmes within a corporate environment.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in healthcare or related industry will be advantageous.
  • A “champion” mentality that passionately supports the health and wellness mandate and mission.
  • Must have expert knowledge of health and wellness, as well as the capability to work in management.
  • Ability to perform extensive research, make independent analysis, and report findings.
  • Proven track record of the development and implementation of relevant wellness initiatives and retrieving of data and designing reports based upon user needs.
  • Strong understanding of best practice approaches to psychological and physical health and wellbeing in an organizational context.
  • Experience in applying innovative solutions in Financial Wellness.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders in a non-coercive manner.
  • Experience in addressing psychological health and wellbeing concerns.
  • Ability to work in a large complex multi-faceted corporate environment with a diverse workforce and multiple geographical sites.
  • Proven ability to communicate and engage with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • A thorough understanding of evidence-based health promotions.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Packages at least at an intermediate level.
  • Experience in managing and leading others
