POSITION INFO:
Welding and Fabricator of spools Quality officer
Fabrication of spools (6,10,16 an 30") and offloading for the offshore campaign
- Spool kits preparation prior to welding
- Confirming WPS and welder competency
- Dimensional control
- NDT of the welds
- Hydrotesting of the spools
- Water testing
- FJC of the spools
- Installation of corrosion and microbial countermeasures prior to load out
- Release of the spools and offloading
IWT, IWI, NDT, CSWIP 3.2
- Coating inspection qualifications (NACE or equivalent, at least II level)
- Minimum 3 years experience performing and/or supervising inspections
- Extensive knowledge of fabrication and coating techniques
- Familiarity with industry-standard codes such as API, AWS, ASME, BS-EN, and DNV
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (ASNT SNT-TC-1A, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic testing, radiographic examination, and interpretation)
- Familiarity with Hydrotesting
- Ability to work independently
