SUMMARY:
Our client with interest in Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) and laser cladding machines has an opportunity for a Welding Technician, Midrand

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to Laser Cladding Manager

Requirements:

NQF Level 4 SAQA registered welder’s certificate.
Minimum 2 years previous work experience as a welder.
Fluent in English
Own Transport (vehicle and driver’s license)
Based in Gauteng.
Matric
SAIW Practical Welding course or similar (beneficial)
Exposure to ISO 3834 (beneficial)

Job specification:

Operation of Plasma Transferred Arc and laser cladding machines.
Building of basic tooling / repair of basic tooling for workshops
Able to operate independently once training is completed.

Sal R 12 500 – R 14 000 p/m
