Job Title: Welder (Mig/Tig) Cutting Torch
Location: Boksburg
Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and reliable welder with experience in MIG welding, TIG welding and oxy-acetylene cutting torch operations. The successful candidate must be able to perform quality welding and cutting work while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components.
- Operate an oxy-acetylene cutting torch safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and welding instructions.
- Prepare, cut, grind and fit metal components before welding.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain welding machines, tools and equipment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organised.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in MIG and TIG welding.
- Experience operating an oxy-acetylene cutting torch.
- Ability to work with different metal types and thicknesses.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant welding qualifications or trade test will be an advantage.

Hourly Rate: R45.00 per hour
Availability: Must be available to start as required.
Working Hours: As determined by the employer.
