Our Client is urgently looking for a Experienced Web Developer to start immediately.

Experience and Qualifications

Certificate in relevant Web Development and/or Graphic Design

Experience

-        Translating UI & UX designs into HTML, CSS and Javascript websites with a focus on user experience and usability.

[The three primary differences between UX and UI designers are: UX deals with the purpose and functionality of the product. UI deals with the quality of the interaction that the end-user has with the product. UI design has an artistic component as it relates to the design and interface with the product]

-        E-Commerce

-        Strong visual aesthetic ability

-        Use sound development practices to build websites

Analysis and Planning

-        Multitask on products and tasks simultaneously, defining priorities and efficiency.

-        Communicate problem, goal and acceptance criteria

-        Communicate with marketing team (design team and management), make recommendations and discuss best programming / development practices.

-        Work with Management to achieve solutions

-        Conduct research on possible solutions and techniques

-        Determine and account for deliverables, products and systems

-        Accurate estimation of timelines and deliverables

-        Identify and mitigate risks

-        Document analysis and planning process

-        Effective communication with team members and management

Programming / Web Development

-        Follow brief and project plan to develop site / web pages

-        Meet deadlines as determined in planning phase

-        Adhere to standards for code as set and determined by brief

-        Generate and maintain effective and efficient high quality code

-        Use effective and efficient components & techniques to implement solutions

-        Ensure that all work is versioned and backed up according to company standards

-        Take ownership for work and tasks.

Testing and Implementation

-        Ensure that all work is tested, benchmarked and fulfils functional requirements before submission

-        Prepare test environment, examples and instructions

-        Participate in team code reviews

-        Deploy changes to live environment

-        Maintain system and product change logs and release notes according to company standards

Reporting and Communication

-        Keep project documentation up to date and to standard

-        Provide effective, timeous and efficient feedback on project status.

-        Proactively keep team members updated on progress, risk and problems

-        Assist in the collection, research, development of stories, estimates and work plans

-        Prepare reports on the status, operation and maintenance of software

Provide insight and feedback on queries regarding relevant projects
