Globally known Retail Company are looking for a Skilled Magento Developer to join their Glasgow base onsite or in a fully remote capacity. Opportunity to work on a very high-trafficking product, with a really modern tech stack in an established environment.
The company have been operating for several years now and are considered as one of the retail giants in the UK, they have a team of highly skilled Developers in Glasgow and are looking to add an additional two members over the next few months.
They have recently migrated their main platform to M2, but still have a lot of work to be done on this product, in addition they are looking to build a couple more brand-new applications that you''ll also be heavily involved within from both a Development and architecture perspective.
For this role, you''ll spend most of the time in the back-end working daily with a combination of Magento2 and PHP (using the Zend framework). In addition to this, they are ideally looking for someone that can pitch in to help out with the Cloud and DevOps aspect of their products, where the company now utilise modern technologies such as; AWS, Docker and Kubernetes. They are willing to provide training on these tools and even help people get certified in them.
You''ll ideally have experience with the following;
** Several years of commercial Software / Web Development experience
** Magento 2 (M1 also considered though)
** PHP (Bonus points for knowledge of Zend)
** Relational Databases (ideally MySQL)
The following is highly desirable;
** Magento Certifications (especially M2)
** AWS
** Docker and / or Kubernetes
** HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The company are based in Glasgow city centre and will be offering the office to all staff members, however there will be no requirements to be onsite weekly, this role can be done fully remote from anywhere in the UK (they might even consider EU - and even help provide relocation packages for anyone thats a really strong match).
For this role the company are offering a salary from £40k to £60k (however they do have some flex here if someone really impresses) on top of a range of really competitive benefits, and the opportunity to gain multiple certifications (Magento2 & AWS).
