Skilled PHP / Magento Developer is required for an established e-commerce organisation in Glasgow City Centre. Opportunity to work on a large-scale migration with a modern tech stack and have real autonomy in your role.

A very well-known and well-respected UK brand are going through a large digital transformation and are keen to improve their technical team by adding a skilled Developer with good knowledge of Magento to their ranks.

You''ll be joining a small multi-discipline team (circa 4) and will be responsible for adding new features and improving the functionality of their current platform. They''re currently migrating to Magento2 and you''ll be heavily involved with this, they also have a steady stream of new projects on the horizon at planning stage.

You''ll ideally be coming in with prior experience in a similar role and have good understanding of both back-end and front-end tools - an interest with modern technology would be handy in this role as they are keen for someone that can help modernise some of their offerings. You''ll be able to suggest and implement new technologies and best practices you think would work - a rare treat for many Developers!

In addition to strong tech skills, the company are keen for someone that would feel comfortable speaking with other areas of the business (they embody a family business model) and as such Stakeholders like to be kept in regular communication with the tech team.

You will ideally have the following;
** Commercial experience with Magento (Magento1 & Magento2)
** PHP & MySQL
** JavaScript & front-end tools
** Git

The following is highly desirable
** Modern JavaScript Libraries
** E-commerce experience
** Senior / Lead Developer experience

This opportunity would suit an ambitious Developer looking to make their stamp on a large-scale project with the backing of a well-established organisation.
