SUMMARY:
Web Developer - an opportunity to join a growing marketing consultancy!

POSITION INFO:

Web Developer - an opportunity to join a growing marketing consultancy!

The role:

You''ll be joining a small, close knit team where you''ll be heavily involved in providing bespoke solutions to a range of clients.

Day to day, you will be coding a range of client solutions ensuring your part of the project is on track and to budget. Working in a small team, your code will need to be easy to understand and other people in the team should be able to pick your work up seamlessly. You''ll be encouraged and to be honest expected to keep up to date with industry trends and developments.

Your new company:

You''ll be joining a fast-paced consultancy who have seen massive growth of late, almost doubling in size, with this trend set to continue for the rest of the year and beyond!

The dev and design team is currently made up of 8 people so you''d really have the opportunity to make a difference and given their recent growth, there is scope for progression long term! You will work closely with your team and although it isn''t client facing, you''ll have an appreciation that you are building solutions for customers.

In terms of company culture, the team is small enough that everything is still very flat, everyone chips in and there is an open platform for discussion around pretty much anything. No silly bureaucracy here.

You:

Obviously, you''ll be a Web Developer with ideally two years commercial experience specifically with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (bonus points for React experience). Any experience with Wordpress (or something similar) would be fab, as would any Hubspot or Shopify experience - not essential though - they are happy to train up in any areas you may need.

Beyond that, you should be a confident communicator and really collaborative as that''s the kind of culture they have built for themselves. You should come from an environment that''s allowed you to be hands on with several projects at once, giving you a proven track record of managing budgets and deadlines!

Interview Process:

An initial chat with HR and the person who will be your new manager ( for around 30 minutes) so they can find out a little bit more about you and vice versa. We would then look to arrange something a bit more formal with the Director. There will be a small task in-between too!

The Good Stuff:

We have anywhere up to £25,000 - £30,000 for this role depending on experience, with a range of benefits, incentives and social events thrown in on top!

The role is office based from a beautiful space in Clitheroe and it sounds like a pretty cool place to be - pool table, bar, gym, games console, table tennis, free fruit, coffee, booze and lots of cake!

This is a really interesting role with a fast-growing company, so please do hit apply if you are interested and contact Danielle Carter at Cathcart Associates for more information.
