Globally known Digital Agency are looking for a skilled Web Developer (ideally with Umbraco or Sitecore skills) to join their Glasgow Base. Modern technologies, interesting projects and a strong salary on offer.
The company have been running successfully for over 20 years now and have developed a really strong brand in the tech community - they have a high level of staff retention and a really enjoyable environment for all, some of the founding team members are still with the organisation (very rare for most Digital Agencies). They have done this through providing the staff very flexible working hours, a very manageable amount of projects per person (you''re honestly not worked to the bone here!) and a list of modern technologies with training and certifications available for all.
They are looking for a skilled Developer to join their Agile team, ideally someone that has good understanding and commercial experience with the .Net stack (MVC & C#) and an interest to work with modern technologies. As the company work in a competitive industry they are always striving to create the most efficient, reliable, attractive and user friendly solutions available - as a result they continue to try and stay ahead of the curve and work with the latest tech on the market; ReactJS, Angular, VueJS and Azure DevOps are actively used in the role so you will gain exposure to these if you haven''t had so already.
The company work with some globally recognised brands and as a result the project work can be really varied, from market campaigns, high trafficking websites, bespoke applications to larger internal software - as expected in Digital Agencies at times you will have several applications you are responsible for, so you will ideally have experience doing so or feel comfortable within a fast paced and ever changing environment.
You should ideally have commercial experience with the following;
** .Net Framework (MVC & C#)
** Databases (TSQL, SQL, Entity Framework)
** CMS Platforms (ideally Umbraco or Sitecore)
Experience with the following is highly beneficial:
** Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps
** Front-end tools (HTML, CSS & JavaScript)
** Modern JavaScript Libraries (VueJS, Angular or ReactJS).
