Web Developer – JHB, Sandton

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

vDeveloping ASP.NET solutions for the organization.

vWork on NopCommerce, build plugins and themes

vDebugging and maintaining written code.

vExperience with WebAPI, EntityFrameWork, Razor pages

vSetting up and integrating into other online platforms

vWorking in a project team alongside other developers.

vProviding technical support to stakeholders in the organization.

vReporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.

vParticipating in project meetings with management and other team members.

Requirements:

ØA bachelor''s degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology.

ØASP.NET and ASP.NET Core 3.1(or higher), and Microsoft Visual Studio certification and experience.

ØA minimum of 4 years of experience developing ecommerce sites.

ØNopCommerce skills are essential. Other E-commerce platforms experience will be considered.

ØKnowledge of other coding-languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, SASS).

ØSolid C# development experience.

ØAbility to write clean, easy to understand code.

ØKnowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Ad-words, and other marketing tools.

ØKnowledge on shopping plugins. Facebook shop, Instagram shop, Google Shop, etc.

ØKnowledge around E-commerce and social media.

ØKnowledge on payment gateways for e-commerce platforms.

ØOutstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

ØExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

ØAbility to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.

ØSound understanding of coding and development processes.

ØExperience with working in an agile environment.

ØASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap 4 and above.

ØRESTFul Service Development (Open API).

ØSQL database knowledge.

ØExperience in the following would be advantages:

ØNopCommerce certification.

ØMini-app development.

ØKnowledge of Ecwid, Shopify, etc.
