POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Web Administrator to join thier team in Sandton on a contract basis for 6 to 12 months. They offer stability, growth, competeitive rates and an excellent working environment.

Web Administrator required with the ability to solve problems and a solid proficiency with Microsoft platforms, products and tools.

• Microsoft Exams – End User 1 & 2

• The Web Administrator must work in a team with other developers within boundaries of strict project deadlines.
• The Web Administrator will be exposed to all major Microsoft technologies and excellent training opportunities both internally and externally.
• This exposure also occurs through the different engagement models being project-based development, placements, outsourced teams and support and enhancement engagements.
• The Web Administrator will either be based at the Head Office or at a customer site.
• The Web Administrator must also be willing to do business travel to customer sites as per business requirements.

KNOWLEDGE

QUALIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS

Required (not-negotiable):

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
• A relevant university computer science degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Customer Liaison
• Experience in SharePoint 2013-2016 Site Content Owner
• Experience in Microsoft CRM
• Proficiency in writing Content for the web
• Proficiency in writing reports with Statistics on website performance

Web Administrator must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Manage and drive web applications to ensure that it is appropriate, relevant and interactive, and works seamlessly as customer touch point within the overall customer experience.
• Managing User input e.g. login issues, design issues, functional issues, data issues, complaints raised about the web and web applications residing and report to relevant service owners
• Manage and coordinate the web applications towards Operational, Maintenance and Support requirements
• Design and implement a strategy for efficient, effective and usable on-line customer self-help tools for existing customers.
• Submit information/reports and internet usage statistics (Page visits, Types of queries received, Account statement and bounce back data) on web applications performance to Management and various Customer Business Units
• Attendance of business meetings as and when required by Customer
• Content Management, being:
• Manage content and Information published on the website and web applications
• Update information (data), as appropriate in the various web applications
• Determine what information is required on the website to ensure it is user friendly for online users
• Determine how information will be made available
• Problem determination and ratification
• Manage and report inter-system connectivity issues
• Provide technical assistance, e.g. access issues, password resets.
• Manage and resolving technical queries received from citizens/ online users and subsequently communicate to the customer business units and developers
• Assist with end user testing when a new system is added to the web

Advantageous (nice-to-have):

• Microsoft

• Experience in web analytics.
