A multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with more than decades of consulting engineering and offices across the countryis looking to employ a Water Civil Engineer with extensive experience in Design of water infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, boreholes, water/wastewater treatment works, reservoirs, control valves etc. to join the team in Durban. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in wastewater treatment works.
Requirements:
•Minimum B Eng./B.Sc Degree in Civil Engineering.
•Must have 4 - 6 years practical experience in the design of water infrastructure, contract management, quality monitoring, report writing etc.
•Experience in compiling reports for all stages of project implementation.
•Experience in grant-funded projects (MIG, WSIG, RBIG etc.).
•Experience in compilation of technical reports, business plans and project management.
•Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, other disciplines and various other stakeholders.
•Experience in Water/Sanitation master plans, WSDPs, NRW Management Plans advantageous.
•Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D & Wadiso/Epanet.
•Experience in Revit & Surge design software beneficial.
•Looking to register as a Professional Engineer within the next 24 months.
