Warranty Manager

SUMMARY:
A manufacturing company in the east rand is looking to employ a Warranty Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements/Skills:

• Friendly, professional conduct, excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong computer knowledge (especially Microsoft & Google business applications).
• Requires mechanical and electrical commercial vehicle knowledge with a strong technical background.
• Verifiable 3+ years of professional experience leading a professional team or small department.
• Minimum of Matric and red seal; must have commercial vehicle experience with a solid technical back ground.
• Ability to provide inspection of product, recommendations and troubleshoot problems with customers and implement continual internal process improvement.
• Able to speak clearly and concisely to both individuals and large groups,
• Must be able to conduct training, and improve training material.
• Handle customer requirements CSI and including problem solving in a professional business manner.
• Report writing is essential.
• Conduct regular warranty benchmarking activities with other OE brands
• Write and amend Policy and procedures ensure they adhered to.
• Adjudication of warranty claims, major, goodwill, pre-sales, service and maintenance related claims.
• Manage all warranty claim queries and feedback is provided to the team.
• Keep track of warranty recon unit and repaired timeously
• Oversee all functions of the warranty system, including creating new edits and upgrades
• Ensure claim back from supplier are processed correctly and in time to avoid rejection
• Conduct audits quarterly and half yearly.
• Matric Certificate
• Code 8 drivers License
• 5 Years workshop or Warranty Experience

Salary

R22 000 – R25 000
