Warranty Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our automotive vehicle dealer client based in Tokai is looking to employ an experienced Warranty Clerk.

POSITION INFO:

Our automotive vehicle dealer client based in Tokai is looking to employ an experienced Warranty Clerk.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Process warranty claims accurately on a daily basis
2. Submit PA ‘s on a daily basis
3. Check claim queue on a daily basis
4. Ensure that vehicles under warranty are registered on the warranty system
5. Check age analysis weekly
6. Compile necessary reports
7. Assist with service administration when necessary
8. Assist with service calls when necessary
9. Check warranty in progress daily.
10. Check Job Cards on a daily basis
11. Sales, manufacturing dates are correct
12. Chassis and engine numbers correct,
13. Check service history
14. Check extra work required
15. Correct allocation of costs
16. Process invoices for outwork accurately and timeously
17. Quotations, when necessary
18. Correct labour costs to be allocated to repair costs
19. Correct errors in warranty claims, when necessary
20. Do general costing accurately
21. Check work in progress
22. Attend to queries and corrections
23. Do job card reversals, when necessary
24. Check that previous days invoices are reflected on system
25. Compile necessary reports
26. Assist with warranty administration when necessary
27. Assist with service calls when necessary
28. Banking
29. Track debtors
30. Track outstanding cash
31. Any other administrative duties required
