POSITION INFO:

Introduction
An automotive manufacturing company based in Pretoria is looking for Claims Manager to manage the warranty claims for the Middle East & Africa region in terms of claims audit and cost controlling

Purpose of the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the Prior Approval Technical Specialists, Claims Auditors and Adjudicators Directs, supervises, evaluates and coaches the specialists while motivating and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate & fair Extended Service Plan Prior Approvals, claim adjudication and in dealer audit.
• Ensure claim-handling processes are accurate and will achieve cost savings targets.
• Responsible for the technical review and approval of claims.
• Ensure support to the business: PROFIT, cash flow, sales, dealer & customer satisfaction, etc.
• Ensure policies and processes support all core ESB metrics (achieving balance between satisfaction and fiduciary responsibilities).
• Review and communicate relevant Company information (TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS, Dealer Communications, etc.)
• Responds to requests for information or claim action by performing an in depth analysis of the technical merits of the repair.
• Review and determine appropriate disposition for claims that may require special attention.
• Identify claim handling efficiency improvements or new cost savings opportunities utilising all available tools.
• Monitor Claims & prior approval dealer satisfaction & recommend program or operational improvements.
• Responsible for data and claim analytics improvements using ALL WARRANTY SYSTEM, ONE WARRANTY SYSTEM and Alteryx.
• Participate in meetings to provide inputs of claim processing.
• Ensure procedures are documented and consistently utilized by all front-line employees.
• Consult with Dealership management about vehicle repair process capability that supports high quality vehicle repair results
• Communicating root cause analysis, and related recommendations to dealership management
• Monitoring service repair process improvement recommendations with affected dealerships and follow-up as required
• Report recommendations, repair actions and results
• Ensure dealership management fully understands the relationship between maintaining sufficient service equipment and increased customer satisfaction.
• Providing guidance on required tools and equipment
• Monitoring processes that support proper diagnosis and repair
• Able to travel for dealerships and offsite meetings

Minimum experience & qualifications required

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in technical or business management
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle repair process
• Mechanical repair expertise
• 3 years Claims or Service Manager Experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Alteryx data systems
• ALL WARRANTY SYSTEM certification for all reports
• GLOBAL REGISTRATION SYSTEM
• ESP Data systems
• ONE WARRANTY SYSTEM mastery
• Vehicle registration systems
