DUTIES OF THE STORES MANAGER

Preparation and monitoring of stores budget, control costs, examine variances and taking appropriate action to correct budget variances.

Reviewing and analysing of all aspects of stores operations and manage improvements where required – for P&P changes, Senior Management approval is required.

Develop safety risk assessments for stores and maintain adequate security at all times.

Control stock loses and discrepancies through effective inventory management.

Develop & maintain purchasing control policies and procedures.

Negotiate favourable prices for the company & establish pricing policies for the company.

Management of condition of tools, purchasing, engraving, distribution etc.

Order Stocks for all companies – Ensuring that the Company obtains the best prices from Suppliers on an ongoing basis.

Process all Purchase orders on Pastel.

Issuing of all Stock.

Stock adjustments and reconciliations monthly due by the admin monthly deadlines.

Ensuring overall Management and Oversight for any stores related matters and issues.

Manage the scrap metal coming in from teams to ensure that if they are re-routing pipework, they are bringing the scrap metal in.
