Warehouse/Logistics Manager (EE)

SUMMARY:
Our well-established client is looking for the services of an experienced Warehouse-/Logistics manager. You will be responsible for the overall function of the branch as your superior will be based in a different province.

POSITION INFO:

Experience and qualification requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain 
• Minimum of 6 years managing a warehouse or operational logistics
• Proven track record of managing a medium size team (20 – 60 staff)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Be responsible for the overall running of the warehouse as a cost centre
• Manage branch in strict accordance with budget
• Ensures the deliveries are happening in line with SLA’s
• Manage performance against targets based on actual data
• Manage and upskill a warehouse- and logistics team
• Managing health and safety standards
• Must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of the work area and other company standards
