Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

Roodepoort
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating and providing
leadership to the dispatch and collections department. He/she will maintain an awareness
of the daily operational needs of the department, shifting priorities as necessary and ensure
that the department functions efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
• Grade 12 / Matric essential
• Qualification in warehouse/logistics
• Minimum of 5 years'' experience in a warehouse dispatch and/or 
  collections field.
• At least 2-3 years supervisory experience, or proof of consistent career 
  advancement to qualify for advancement to a Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of routing/logistics to meet the daily
  goals set by management and the expectations of the customer.
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP - beneficial)

Strong leader 90 people in the warehouse, must have experience with managing a large volume of staff
Deals with picking and distribution in the warehouse which is a dual function
Customers place orders until 5PM and need to manage the picking, packaging, planning resources and distribution - essential experience required
