Job Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Port Elizabeth

Salary: R10 700 per month commensurate with experience and qualification

3 month contract to permanent – benefits will be added when permanent

Qualifications / Requirements:

Matric

Pharmacy Assistant Basic and Post Basic qualification

Minimum of 5 years in a warehouse environment

Pharmaceutical knowledge highly advantageous

Key Performance Areas:

Coordinate the activities of the stock in the ethical warehouse in liaison with Buyers, Clerks and Dispatch and provide support to responsible Pharmacist

Move stock received to applicable area

Perform checks to ensure staff has prepared shelves for stock takes

Participate and supervise in weekly / annual stock takes

Liaise with Buyers in regard to incorrect stock received, incorrect book-ins from the branches as well as suppliers

Conduct performance appraisals with subordinates on an annual basis

Responsible for the training and development of staff

Responsible for allocating work and monitoring absenteeism
