a Well Established organisation is seeking the services of a Warehouse /Storeroom Manager for the WEST RAND, JOHANNESBURG area.

POSITION INFO:

a Well Established organisation is seeking the services of a Warehouse /Storeroom Manager for the WEST RAND, JOHANNESBURG area.

We are seeking a self managed individual with a strong personality. The ideal candidate must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Must be able to put systems in place to ensure accurate and efficient workflow. Must be able to work under pressure. Primary responsibilities are to maintain timely and accurate inventory, materials levels, and expedite materials when needed. Directly reports to Senior management.

Min Requirements:

Working experience of PASTEL (Test to be written)
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer literate.
Min of 3 years experience in Warehouse management or Storeroom management is a must.
Min of 3 years administrative experience in a warehouse / storeroom environment
Experience in Cost allocation, Procurement of parts, Receiving, Stock take, Costing, Ordering of Parts
Stock control
Source parts from suppliers
Strong negotiation skills to Negotiate better prices from suppliers
Experience in Materials Transfers
Inventory Management, annual physical inventory
Ship-ins, unpack and repack
Customer Service via phone calls and walk ins
Communicates directly to customers, vendors and outside business associates via phone and email
Must be a very hands on person

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Experienced in Pastel Software. (Non negotiable)
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prior administrative experience a plus
Ability to work in fast pace environment.
Ability to perform accurately under pressure
Strong personality
Problem-solving skills
Team player
Take initiative and quick thinker
Ability to work under pressure
Exceptional planning and organisational skills

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivelant

Salary: R10 000 - R15 000 pm
