Purpose of Position:

 

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Storeman, Picker for a manufacturing company located in Port Elizabeth, Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. This is a permanent position. The Storeman/Picker will be required to perform all warehouse stores related functions as detailed below. Salary R5500.00 per month.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Minimum of Matric or NQF4 equivalent
• +2yrs previous Working experience in a similar role
• Working hours - Mon to Thu 07h45 to 17h00, Fri 07h45 to 16h00, and 1 Sat per month 08h00-12h00 on a rotational basis
• Capable of moving large heavy objects across vast spaces throughout the day in the warehouse
• Preference for previous Warehouse stores experience
• Ability to communicate well with subordinates and co-workers
• Excellent time management skills
• Highly systematic, organised and accurate record keeping
• Problem solving and analytical skills

 

Duties:

 

• Storeman/Picker responsibilities include:
• Picking of stock items as needed per sales orders
• Packing of stock received from receiving department
• Warehouse Stores housekeeping tasks
• Assist customers at the store collections counter with orders
• Check stock when returned for credits
• Assist sales team with stock queries
• Cooperate with the rest of the employees based on site
• Be Familiar with the health and safety practices and follow all site health and safety regulations
