SUMMARY:
Opportunity exists for hardworking Warehouse Receiving Manager to join Distribution Centre of this growing National Retailer. 5-10 Years warehouse experience, forklift / pallet jack experience, and SCM / Warehouse Management qualification is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Overseeing the unloading of incoming trucks utilizing forklift and / or pallet jack
Physically inspects product for weight, condition, temperature, and quality
Initiates electronic receiving by proper personnel
Approves all receiving upon completion
Ensures bays are organized and clean of debris, free of damaged and poor-quality product
Makes sure products are rotated on a regular basis
Maintain the working area in line with 5S principles
Continuous flow of product to market and control operations
Adherence to work schedule and attendance policy
Adhere to Health and Safety rules

Requirements:

Minimum Matric
Supply Chain Management / Warehouse Management qualification
5-10 years warehouse experience
Microsoft Office (advanced level)
Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks
Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
Good communication skills
Forklift / pallet jack certified and ability to drive a forklift / pallet jack safely
Must have the ability to lift and move products without assistance, stand for long periods of time and wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment
