Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor – Randburg

POSITION INFO:

Food Supply and Distribution company is looking for an Experienced Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor for their operations in the Randburg area

Duties:

• Ensure correct and proper use of company’s equipment and warehouse facilities
• Fully conversant/knowledgeable with pallet receiving schedule
• Ensure that the freezer map corresponds to the physical stock
• Print and follow up on open purchase orders report
• Airport/airfreight collection procedures and times must be followed correctly
• Ensure that freezer and chiller doors are kept closed at all times
• Print outs of GRN summary
• All stock to be correctly received with the relevant invoice/order/confirmation
• All Inter Branch Transfers to be checked and signed as per requirements
• Special and Non stock items to be labelled, stored and tracked as per their respective order
• On selected products ensure the checking of correct shelf life prior to acceptance into stock
• Reconcile all receipts against the summary report
• Sign of GRN summary if correct
• Correspond with Operations Manager and Buyer if any supplies have not been received as anticipated

Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12
• MUST be able and willing to work night shift and unusual hours
• Good MS Office skills
• Must have a minimum of 5 years Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor/Manager experience – this is Not negotiable
• Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Good people skills – staff and customers
• Excellent organization and Administration skills
• Only South African citizens will be considered
