Warehouse Manager (EE)

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a seasoned Warehouse manager.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for the full function of managing a very large Distribution Centre.  Obvious duties will include implementation of new processes to streamline the DC and to make it more cost effective.

The fact that you will overseeing a staff compliment of anything between 500 and 700 (indirect) warehouse staff, will make you ultimately responsible for all the aspects within the warehouse.  You will have at least 10 Supervisors reporting into you.

The bar for this job is very high and we will only consider exceptional applications:

• A relevant National Diploma or Degree (if your national diploma is not completed, you will not be considered)
• A minimum of 7 year plus experience working and being responsible for a DC
• Solid managerial experience and more particular, managing at least 400 plus staff members
• Experience working in a warehouse of at least 20 000 sqm
• Fine picking/smalls experience
• ERP systems knowledge
• Experience in working with budgets and cost analysis.

You will be expected to work shifts but it is ‘easy hours’ unless it is peak season which is not often.
