Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and co-ordinate the full cycle of Warehouse/Logistics management in order to meet the factory production requirements
• Proactively manage internal and external customer’s expectations
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and internal customers
• Budgeting and cost control
• Inventory management
• Identification of any bottlenecks and implement effective solutions
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, lead times and efficiency
• Continuously analyse data and trends to assess performance and implement improvements as needed
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance to the OSH Act
• Maintain equipment, tools and working areas in all the stores
• Build and maintain good relationships with vendors – existing and new
• Management of departmental staff – including Training and development, coaching, discipline, good communication and maintaining of good staff morale

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred
• MUST HAVE 5 years Manufacturing/Production support experience as a Warehouse Manager – This is Non-negotiable.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license
• Good Management and leadership skills
• Computer literate - MS Office
• Extensive experience with ERP and MRP systems is a must (Evolution/Pastel would be beneficial)
• Good database management experience
• Good communication skills – Both verbal and written with all levels of staff
