SUMMARY:
Warehouse Manager

POSITION INFO:

• Responsible for all raw materials and packaging
• Ensure inspection on trucks is done according to safety of goods and defense procedure when they arrive for delivery.
• Ensure goods are unloaded and check them against purchases orders and delivery notes.
• Ensure COA’s are received with each delivery.
• Ensure stock is moved physically and as well on Syspro
• Make sure the stock that is received is receipted timeously into Syspro
• Ensure warehouse is kept neat and tidy at all times – maintain good housekeeping
• Make sure FIFO is followed at all times
• Monitor  pallet account and make sure transfers in and out happen timeously and pallet stock balances
• Cycle counts to be done and monitored daily and shortages reported to operations manager
• Lot Traceability for stock approaching expiry to be done monthly
• Shortage check to be run and checked weekly, any shortages to be reported to and explained to the buyer
• All stock needed for production must be supplied timeously and returns to be verified and checked correctly
• Stock take to be done as and when required
• Monitor and manage overtime for workers in the warehouse
• Manage the company vehicle and driver with regards to servicing and planning driver daily routes and tasks
• Manage budget monthly and make sure budget is adhered to
• Work on Production System and make sure any issues are dealt with timeously.
• Scheduling daily work for all staff
• Oversee issuing of materials
• Ensure all staff are trained to work in the department

1. Safety Duties:

• policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
• Personal Hygiene rules must be followed at all times.
• General safety must be taken while working.
• No product may be contaminated or spoilt in any way so as to negatively impact on the company.
• Training regarding Safety principles, Hygiene, cleaning procedures and operational issues must be followed strictly and at all times.
• All safety or product incidents must be reported immediately to management.
• Ensure workers are working safely at all times and using the correct PPE provided to them by the company
