Warehouse Coordinator

Opportunity available!! Our client in the Automotive sector is seeking to employ a Warehouse Coordinator to join their team in East London. The suitable candidate will be dealing with the Coordination of all Logistics activities involving the designated Warehouse

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: 

- Effective management of goods flow into, within & out of the warehouse
- Maintaining accurate Records of receiving and distribution of goods (production material) in warehouse
- Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reporting of warehouse activities & personnel
- Cooperation concerning complaints resolution
- Maintaining accurate Inventory Records & Cooperation with inventorying queries / activities
- Self-reliant work and cooperation with whole M/L department members
- Maintain minimum required DOH stock
- Monitor, Maintain and manage onsite Returnable / CHEP packaging products
- Packaging material stock & order management
- Outbound order management (Administrative)
- Maintain Kanban within Warehouse and Production plant
- Place Kanban orders with local suppliers & Expedite deliveries
- Coordinate Picking & Sequencing of specified parts from warehouse to production
- Coordinate Hang-on-Parts (HOP) Line Feeding, Storing & Shipping activities (physical & administrative)
- Follow BOS work instructions and other procedures concerning warehouse management
- MHE management
- Take disciplinary action where necessary.
- Follow legal and other requirements concerning environment protection

Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in stores or warehousing
- 5 years Warehouse/Logistics experience including core knowledge and skills
- Min. 3 years’ work experience in similar area
- Excellent Supervisory Skills
- Knowledge of material flow
- Computer literate
- Interpersonal and computer skills
