POSITION INFO:

Job Position: Warehouse Assistant

Ref: 3801

Location: Cape Town
Salary: R7000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification including medical aid and Provident Fund

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must understand warehouse functions and process
• Minimum of 1 year’s warehouse experience
• Minimum of Grade 12
• Computer literacy essential
• Knowledge of:

-       Warehouse management processes and procedures

-       Inventory management processes and procedures

-       Operational systems and procedures

• Skills:

-       Security conscious

-       Attention to detail

-       Good verbal and written communication skills

-       Good organizational skills

-       Numerical skills

Key Performance Areas:

• Ensure right stock and quantity is received as per put away list
• Ensure stock is packed away in the right bin location and verify accuracy of Put away list
• Verify accuracy of bin locations daily
• Ensure the accurate stock transfers and relocations
• Plan bin locations in accordance with space availability, dimension and weight
• All items received from staging to be checked and packed away into locations
• Maintain Housekeeping standards
• Proactive bin replenishment
