Warehouse Administrator

SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in manufacturing Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to document and capture stock movement in the warehouse, between
warehouses, to clients, and from production.

Responsibilities:

• Capture data on production orders.
• Capture bottom end and damage data on SAP.
• Attend to all warehouse administration.
• Process batch transfers for the warehouse.
• Coordinate picking in the warehouse.
• Utilize Frameworks to link the stock to trucks.
• Assist with CHEP documentation in the warehouse.
• Capture cycle counts and stock takes.
• Rework administration and summary capturing.
• Attend to housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Compliance with the Company policies and procedures.
• Assist with any ad hoc tasks as per instruction by the Manager.

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Grade 12
• Literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
• Conversant in English and Afrikaans
• One to two years relevant warehouse experience
• Shift work and overtime will be required
