Warehouse Administrator

Main mission
 
To participate in the maintenance of an effective, optimal and safe stores management system and depot. Accurate generation of Sales Orders on SAP with accuracy as per client purchase order. Accurate Capturing of Picking Slips and Delivery Notes. Handle and store all materials and equipment in compliance with the requirements set out in datasheets, specifications or dictated by legislation e.g. Health & Safety.
Ensure the accurate and timeous capturing of all transactional related aspects within the warehouse in SAP.
Execution of administrative duties and liaise with internal and external clients.
Compile weekly/monthly reports.
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes the following, however, their duties may apply.)
· Accurate generation of sales orders on SAP
· Accurate capturing of picking slip.
· Capture of delivery note on SAP.
· Issuing delivery note to customer with relevant transport documentation.
· Ensure all orders and other transactional documentation are filed.
· Manage Inventory and housekeeping.
o Batch Corrections
o Expiry Dates
o Bin Locations
· Execute cycle counts and stock takes.
· Ordering all stationary for office.
· Maintain housekeeping standards
· Maintain depot and facilities.
· Assist colleagues as required (Alternative during absenteeism)
 
      
    

 
This candidate must be willing to ensure business continuity in times of absenteeism and must be able to work unsupervised and perform all work related aspects of the depot
 
Performance measures:
 

• Accurate and timeous capturing of operational transactions on SAP.
• Maintain zero percent stock variance with regards to inventory management.
• Zero recordable incidents with regards to forklift truck operations within the depot.
• Pro-active housekeeping of facilities and product cleanliness.
• Pro-Active Health and Safety observations and intervention.

Educational background / Experience:
 

• Grade 12
• Fluent in both English & Afrikaans
• Forklift License will be advantage
• Computer Literate …..SAP knowledge or experience
• 3+ years’ experience in similar role within logistics / distribution environment
