SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be required to review, rewrite, edit and proof publishing outputs across all platforms and media so that it is flawless prior to publication. Your outputs will include textbooks, handbooks, case studies, and other reference material, as well as articles for a top-tier business magazine. You will report to the publisher.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Edit outputs for all platforms used by publisher, ensuring:
- Outputs are grammatically correct, logically sequenced, appropriately referenced, concisely presented, plagiarism-free, and comply with house style;
- Formatting is error-free;
- Figures make sense;
- Content that poses problems is flagged, with suggestions made in a mentorly way to improve its quality;
- Other organisational material is edited and proofread on request.
- Edit course material across all platforms and media used by school (such as coursework, assessments, graphics, videos, etc) is grammatically correct, structured logically, flows, is appropriately referenced, concisely presented, plagiarism-free, and complies with house style;
- Formatting is error-free;
- Figures make sense;
- Flag content that poses problems;
- Proofread and edit other organisational material on request;
- Make suggestions to improve the quality of course materials; and
- Mentor junior staff when required.
