A fast-growing company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager/ Stock Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Grade 12/equivalent
A completed Logistics / Supply Chain Management qualification will be advantageous

Experience and Requirements:

Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience within a warehousing environment with references
A high level of computer literacy with working knowledge of inventory management software
Experience in inventory audits, stock / cycle counts
Code 10 with PDP driver’s license would be advantageous and counterbalance forklift license
Have a stable work record with contactable references
Be physical fit and able to work on your feet
Reside close to Germiston
Be of sober habits

Duties and responsibilities:

Able to perform in a fast-paced customer services orientated environment.
Excellent organization skills with good communication and negotiation abilities.
Full Warehouse Management Function including administration duties.
Stock control - Overseeing receiving, dispatching, and warehousing of stock.
Control and run Bi-annual stock takes and cycle counts, keeping updated inventory records.
Implementing, reviewing, and improving operational policies and procedures.
Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and safety of staff.
Maintain good housekeeping and disciplines in the warehouse.
Motivating and disciplining staff
Internal fleet management
The purpose of this role is to direct receive, warehousing and distribution operations
Overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly to guarantee high levels of customer service.
