WAREHOUSE MANAGER

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting an Accomplished Warehouse Management professional with extensive experience in warehousing and logistics management, and operations management. Ideally you have manufacturing and /or pharma experience.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilties:

• Ensuring daily efficiencies of key deliverables according to business requirements
• Managing monthly and annual peaks
• Continuous Short- term Focus on daily operations
• Daily Operations of the Warehouse
• Financial budgeting/ planning and metrics
• Manage the Warehouse teams in respect of infrastructure, systems, reporting and analytics platforms to ensure efficiencies and optimisation for effective service delivery.
• Manage and oversee staff compliment and ensure performance of approx. 55 employees, direct reports 2
• Oversee a transport and delivery of quality product with an annual turnover ($300mn)
• Distribution facility management - ($15mn facility)
• Quality Assurance - Ensure warehouse always audit ready
• Projects / Process improvements and risk management within warehouse environment

Value is high, complexity is large with large operational and transactional volumes.

• Out of stock risk - less than 1% of sales

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics
• Good analytical working experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience in comprehensive supply chain management environment of 40 or more employees
• Minimum working experience of two (2) years managing high value, high volume businesses. FMCG, Pharma or food industry.
• A sound knowledge of relevant quality working standards & safe working procedures as well as the requirements of the Health and Safety legislation (OHS Act/ ISO standards), also including GWP and
  / or cGMP, GDP and safe work practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including Excel), warehouse management systems, and database systems

• Proven Experience in a leadership role with oversight of multiple supervisors

• Finance, SAP ERP systems and forecasting tools and processing, advanced Excel, statistical knowledge and business intelligence
