Vulnerability Management Engineer
(junior to mid-level)

The Managed Services division is growing and we would like to add an enthusiastic person to the vulnerability team. Your keenness to learn will ensure ample growth within the team and company.

You have a love for cybersecurity and need to ensure that not only we as a company but also all our clients are not at risk at any given time.

Required experience/skills:
• Microsoft Windows Patching
• Implementation of Security and Cumulative Updates
• Remediation of Security Vulnerabilities
• WSUS Experience
• SCCM Experience an Advantage

Technology (used/have knowledge of) (beneficial):
* WSUS – required experience
* Tenable (preferred)
* Qualys (preferred)
* Rapid7
* any other security product experience is welcomed

Role/Job Description:
á´¥ Installation of VM devices such as scanners and console devices required for scanning
á´¥ Upgrading & Maintenance of VM deployments at various clients
á´¥ Configuration of scans, this includes compliance, vulnerability, WAS, PCI etc
á´¥ Internal & External assessments of client networks
á´¥ Liaising with other teams such as SOC/MDR and broader Managed Services Team when new threats are detected
á´¥ Health checks
á´¥ Reporting
á´¥ Engaging with customers
á´¥ Client notification for new CVE’s that are currently being exploited
á´¥ Product testing
á´¥ Engaging with resellers

Future growth job duties could entail:
á´¥ Architectural & Solution design documentation for deployments
á´¥ Baseline/compliance audits (PCI, DSS, SCAP, CIS)
á´¥ CSM, ensuring the deliverables are met
á´¥ Presenting weekly and monthly Managed Services reports to customers
á´¥ CVE research
á´¥ Creating SOP''s for when systems or processes are implemented
á´¥ VM innovation
á´¥ Client demo’s
á´¥ Lead a small team of individuals focused on Vulnerability Management and the lifecycle
