Vulnerability Management Engineer
Cape Town

We have an exciting and responsible opening on our Managed Services team.
This would be a perfect person to add their experience within the vulnerability space as well as help/manage junior staff
We are a down-to-earth team and looking for a like-minded person to join, with the ability to share and eager to learn constantly.

You have a love for cybersecurity and need to ensure that not only we as a company but also all our clients at not at risk at any given time.

It is crucial to have experience with at least one of the mentioned technologies below:

Technology:
* Tenable (preferred); or
* Qualys (preferred); or
* Rapid7

Role/Job Description:
á´¥ Architectural & Solution design documentation for deployments
á´¥ Installation of VM devices such as scanners and console devices required for scanning
á´¥ Upgrading & Maintenance of VM deployments at various clients
á´¥ Configuration of scans, this includes compliance, vulnerability, WAS, PCI etc
á´¥ Internal & External assessments of client networks
á´¥ Baseline audits
á´¥ CSM, ensuring the deliverables are met
á´¥ Liaising with other teams such as SOC/MDR and broader Managed Services Team when new threats are detected
á´¥ Health checks
á´¥ Reporting
á´¥ Presenting weekly and monthly Managed Services reports to customers
á´¥ Engaging with customers
á´¥ CVE research
á´¥ Client notification for new CVE’s that are currently being exploited
á´¥ Creating SOP''s for when systems or processes are implemented
á´¥ VM innovation
á´¥ Product testing
á´¥ Client demo’s
á´¥ Engaging with resellers
á´¥ Lead a small team of individuals focused on Vulnerability Management and the lifecycle
