Overview

Position: VoIP Specialist with PBX & Asterix Agent with Mikrotik, Cisco & Extenders product knowledge!!!!

Location: Witbank

Salary R25 000 - R30 000 per month CTC negotiable, depends on experience

Responsiblities

• Maintain existing Asterix systems and supporting processes
• Troubleshooting Asterix issues
• Participating in the maintenance of system for call management, call recordings management and integrated applications
• Setting up and managing current applications
• Asterix management interface
• Adding and managing SIP lines and trunks
• Maintaining installed Asterix services installed in a variety of capacities, includes all aspects of proactive maintenance, configuration management, upgrading/updating and performance optimization
• Install and implement voice switches and VLANs
• Install and implement voice switches

Skills and Experience:

Requirements

• Matric
• 3 - 5+ years experience in a similar role working with VOIP, PBX and ASTERIX or hosted IP Systems
• minimum of 3 years management experience.
• IT Degree and relevant Voice / Network related certifications
• Product knowledge of Mikrotik, Cisco & Extenders
• Experience in compiling, building and installing Asterix in both new and existing environments
• Understanding of IP PBX configuration, call routing and translations, and SIP trunk implementations with multiple platforms, including but not limited to Asterix
• Must have own car
• must come from Witbank, Pretoria East or Centurion and be willing to relocate to Witbank.
• Must be available immediately
