SUMMARY:
POSITION INFO:
A leading tele-healthcare medical practice requires the services of a professional RECEPTIONIST. Please note that this is a virtual position, but it will be required for the person to be physically based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town or the Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Virtual Receptionist
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and medical consultations
• Brief patients on procedures
• Maintain medical and client records
• Perform various administrative functions
• Maintenance of online practice system
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Understanding of medical scheme claims
• GP practice experience is a distinct advantage
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise work in a high pressurised environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Afrikaans
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Strong organizational and planning skills
REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• Relevant qualification in administration advantageous
• 2-3 Years previous experience in a similar role
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Knowledge of medical procedure codes (ICD10 codes)
