Villa Private Chef

SUMMARY:

• Plan and prepare high-quality meals for guests staying at the private villa, taking into account their dietary preferences, allergies, and special requests.
• Design creative and diverse menus showcasing local and international cuisine, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced sustainably.
• Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and nutritional value, adhering to 5-star quality standards.
• Accommodate special dietary requirements and restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and food intolerances, with attention to detail and care.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations within the villa, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and cleaning, to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen processes to ensure consistency, quality, and safety in food production.
• Interact with guests in a professional and engaging manner, providing personalized culinary experiences and accommodating their preferences and requests.
• Offer cooking demonstrations, culinary workshops, and interactive dining experiences for guests interested in learning more about local cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed their expectations through exceptional service, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

POSITION INFO:

• 5* luxury villa and restaurant or yacht experience – at least 3 years
• Professional Chef diploma (at least 3 year qualification) 
• Drinks and wine Knowledge essential
• Energetic and dynamic
• Able to be flexible and adaptable 
• Must be able to manage a team
• Will also manage a production team (2) as well as other villa chefs 
• Must be flexible in terms of leave/ days off
• Excellent communication / events experience and ability 
• Menu planning and able to cater to requests from family at all times 
• Excellent administration
