Underwriter | Short Term Personal Lines

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Short Term Personal Lines and Commercial underwriting
  • RE 5
  • 120 Credits
  • Fit and Proper as per FAIS
  • Skilled in Excel and knowledge of short term administration systems i.e. MMX
  • DOFA confirmation from FSCA
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Time management skills
  • Resilient with a good level of stress tolerance
  • Highly client-focused with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients
  • Preparing quotations
  • Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients
  • Recording details and information on the relevant systems.
