POSITION INFO:

We have a vacancy for an experienced Underwriter & Claims Handler (Commercial & Domestic) in our client''''''''s Piet Retief branch in Mpumalanga. The person should ideally be based in Piet Retief but if that is not possible, the person may be based at their Johannesburg business.

 Job Specifications:

 Afrikaans speaking,

 At least 10 years relevant Short Term Insurance experience in Commercial and Personal Lines, ideally having worked for a broker or a sizeable insurance company.

Must be Fit & Proper, i.e. must have passed the RE5 (Representatives) exam & must have the relevant FAIS credits. Our client would like confirmation that you are Fit and Proper

Bilingualism would be advantageous.

Self-driven and able to work independently, within the Company policy framework.

 Cost to Company package around R30 000 , negotiable depending on experience. See sample payslips attached

Compulsory membership of the Group Provident Fund: 50/50 contribution of 5% each, plus employer funded risk benefit.

Bi-annual annual Performance based bonuses, paid in June and December, provided the Company is in a position to pay bonuses.

15 working days annual leave, plus 6 days special leave per annum.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 08h30 – 16h00 with a 30 minutes lunch break.
