We are a team of product designers, UX specialists and UI designers at DVT based in Johannesburg and Pretoria working on medium to large scale mobile and web projects for local and international clients.
At DVT we follow a human-centred design approach and make use of methodologies such as Lean UX and design thinking. We strive to collaborate with business stakeholders and software engineers as far as possible, to come up with the best possible solution every time. We are not caught up on tools, but we make use of Sketch, Invision, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, UXPin and many more.

Minimum qualifications/experience
- 4+ years UI / UX Design experience
- Corporate experience would be advantageous
- Prototyping
- Wire Framing (Screen Designs)
- Accessible portfolio of work
- Adbobe InDesign /Adobe Illustrator / Adobe XD
- InVision / Zeplin / Sketch / Axure RP
- Must have a background / experience in Website and Mobile Apps design
- Creating conceptual designs for mobile and web platforms
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps and working prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Create front-end user interfaces in conjunction with front-end UI/UX Designs
- Collaborate with product management and development team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development team
- Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Follow and create design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wireframing tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Bonus: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
