Job Description
This role requires a highly skilled User Experience and User Interface Designer to contribute to the development and enhancement of digital banking products. The successful candidate will design intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces that improve customer experience and engagement across multiple digital platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure user-centred design principles are consistently applied throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interface components and prototypes that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Ensure all designs comply with accessibility standards and are optimised for a range of devices and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers and business analysts to integrate design solutions into products.
- Maintain and update design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
- Analyse user behaviour data to identify pain points and opportunities for continuous improvement of user experience.
- Stay informed of industry trends, best practises and emerging technologies related to UX/UI design and digital banking.
- Support the agile development process by participating in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Solution architecture, integration architecture, security architecture, API ecosystems, developer portals, Host-to-Host integration onboarding, identity and access management, workflow orchestration, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise governance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, Digital Media, Computer Science or a related discipline.
